❓ What equipment does my child need?
Your child will need:
- A laptop, computer, or tablet with a working microphone and camera
- Stable internet connection
- Lined paper, checked (grid) paper for maths, pens/pencils
- Printed work packs (or request to receive them by post or in-person)
❓ Can my child join mid-term?
Yes, we allow rolling admissions where possible. A short 1:1 assessment will be arranged to place them in the correct group, and they will receive their schedule and starter pack before joining.
❓ Do you accept boys and girls?
Yes. Our school is open to all children, but classes are organised to avoid free mixing. Our structure is in line with Islamic values and appropriate safeguarding protocols.
❓ How are classes taught?
Live lessons take place via Google Meet, with resources and homework shared through Google Classroom. Teachers use screen sharing or online whiteboards, and all sessions are recorded for review.
❓ What happens if my child misses a class?
You can access the recording of the lesson and review it later in your own time. If your child is falling behind, we recommend they rewatch the lesson and re-do the task as part of their homework.
❓ How is feedback and marking done?
Work must be submitted by 5pm daily via email or Google Classroom. Teachers return marked work with comments. If corrections are required, students should resubmit the updated version.
❓ Can I talk to the teacher if I have concerns?
Yes, absolutely. You will be given your teacher’s email, and we encourage open communication. For more serious issues or review of progress, we can also arrange a follow-up call or meeting.
❓ Do you provide a full curriculum?
Yes — you will receive a termly overview, a weekly plan, and structured daily lessons across Maths, English, Qur’an, Arabic and Islamic Studies. All content follows the UK curriculum alongside Islamic learning.
